If you’re already a genealogist/family historian working on any of our shared family lines I’d love to hear from you.  Collaboration is one of my favorite things.

If you’re trying to figure out if you want to do some exploring in this area, or how to do it, please contact me.  I’d love to help get you as addicted to this endeavor as I am!

And if you have people, stories, photos, documents or the like to add don’t hesitate to contact me. That’s what makes this family search adventure work. I’m sure many of you have very important “stuff” no one else in the family has, but everyone else in the family would love to see! Just a few months ago a cousin discovered a 300 year-old family Bible, with lots of records, in a box in the far corner of his father’s storage locker!! What a treasure! Maybe you have something like that. Or maybe you just have a single photo which no one has ever seen before. Every discovery is a treasure in danger of being lost if you don’t share it!

If you’re the “Family Collector” (most families have someone who collects the photos, newspaper clippings, albums, stories, etc. etc.) and don’t want to “lose” all that stuff, but you just don’t have any more room, contact me so we can talk about it.  Unfortunately, my birth family didn’t have one of those…but my father’s sister was a family collector and freely shared those things as she got older.  My wife had two aunts, one on each side of the family, and what treasures we’ve received from those two ladies!

If you have someone whose estate you are having to deal with (settle, clean out, get rid of, or something similar), and they were one of those “Family Collectors”…please, PLEASE…don’t toss all that “junk” away.  I can guarantee you there is a genealogist, family historian, historical archive, or someone like that, who would love to have it.  If it’s one of my family lines, I’D LOVE to have it!  But even if it’s another family line, there’s almost certainly someone who’d like to talk to you about it.
